Country Fire Authority Hamilton Air Base

Ms KEALY (Lowan) (13:55:36): As we enter another fire season Labor has again failed to provide funding for vital upgrades to the Hamilton CFA air base. We must protect and support our volunteers to refill our firefighting air fleet as quickly as possible, not only providing a safe workspace for our volunteers but also ensuring planes can spend as much time as possible in the air to provide first‑line support to halt fires and minimise the spread of bushfires. I urge the Minister for Emergency Services to immediately provide the $150 000 required to finish the upgrade of Hamilton CFA air base.
