Kealy – recognising our local business women

The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy MP is urging local people to celebrate the achievements of exceptional business women by nominating them for the 2017 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.

Ms Kealy said the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, now in its 23rd year, recognise and reward the courage, leadership and creativity of Australia’s business women and play a critical role in raising the profile of women in business.

“There are many inspirational women from a diverse range of working backgrounds in the Lowan electorate who are achieving great things. The awards provide a fabulous opportunity to recognise these women.

“I urge everyone in the community to stand behind our local business women by nominating them for the 2017 Telstra Business Women’s Awards as a way to show our support and encourage other women to follow in their footsteps,” Ms Kealy said.

Anyone can nominate a business woman they admire, with entries open from Wednesday 26 April until Thursday 15 June 2017 across five Award categories.

State and Territory Award winners will be announced at gala events later this year, with the Victorian Awards taking place on Tuesday 10 October 2017.

The National Awards, including the announcement of the Telstra Business Woman of the Year will take place at a gala dinner in Sydney on Friday 1 December 2017.

To nominate go to https://www.telstrabusinesswomensawards.com/nominate/ or call the Telstra Business Women’s Awards on 1800 817 536 for further information.
