Opportunity to celebrate our local sporting heroes
Nationals Member for Lowan Emma Kealy has encouraged the local community to nominate someone they know for the 2015 Community Sport and Recreation Awards.
Ms Kealy said people could nominate their local sporting volunteers, coaches, officials and clubs for the awards.
“The awards have a long-standing reputation for celebrating the achievements of our grassroots sporting and recreation community,” Ms Kealy said.
“These awards are a chance to nominate and celebrate the commitment and passion of people or organisations that make a real difference in their local community and embody the true spirit of sport and active recreation.
“I encourage as many people as possible to get their nominations in and support their local clubs and individuals,” she said.
