Pedrina Park Opening

The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy MP has congratulated the Hamilton sporting community, following the official opening of new change room facilities at Pedrina Park.

“The new change room facilities were made possible by the previous Nationals-Liberal Coalition State Government with over $96,000 provided through the Community Facilities Funding Program,” Ms Kealy said.

“I congratulate everyone involved who supported and drove this great community project to improve facilities at Pedrina Park.

“Pedrina Park’s multipurpose facilities will ensure the continued growth of football, soccer, cricket, hockey, and field athletics within our region and will encourage increased participation in sport.

“These first class facilities will support players in Hamilton and the wider district for generations.

“The Nationals have supported building Pedrina Park into a vibrant sporting hub for the community. Much planning and investment has gone into the precinct at Pedrina Park over many years with the inclusion of the synthetic Hockey Pitch valued at $1.3 million dollars and a premier soccer facility valued at $350,000,” she said.

The new change rooms will be home of the St Mary’s Monivae Football team.
