Applications for Churchill Fellowships now open

Christian Fellowships offer Australians a life-changing opportunity to travel overseas for four to eight weeks to learn more about a topic or issue that they are passionate about.

Member for Lowan and Deputy Leader of The Nationals Emma Kealy is encouraging Lowan constituents to consider applying for a fellowship, with applications now open and closing at the end of April.

“Churchill Fellowships are awarded to people from all walks of life, with applications encouraged from all sectors of the community an in any field or topic of interest,” Ms Kealy said.

“As an internationally recognised award, recipients gain access to expertise from around the world and are encouraged to design their own project and explore international best practice and innovation that can be applied in Australia.

“Churchill Fellows make a difference every day in all aspects of Australian life across an incredibly broad and diverse range of issues including agriculture, health, sport, environment and more, by sharing their findings and knowledge with the broader Australian community.”

Application for a Churchill Fellowship Award is a competitive process, with around 100 fellowships awarded around Australia each year.

Air travel, in-country transportation, accommodation and living expenses are included in a Churchill Fellowship

Applications opened on 1 March and close at the end of April.

More information and an application form can be found at churchillfellowships.com.au

“I encourage all Lowan residents to consider applying for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Ms Kealy said.
