Horsham Bus Stops

Ms KEALY: Public Transport Victoria (PTV) have repeatedly failed to consult with affected property owners regarding the proposed new bus stops in Horsham. One property owner with planning permit applications to build her dream home currently under consideration by council will have the entire 20-metre frontage of her property blocked by a 30-metre bus stop clearance zone. A vet business with plans to extend will lose four car parking spaces, putting their expansion at risk. Again there has been no consultation or engagement offered by PTV. The minister must intervene to ensure that proper process is followed and local people impacted by bus stops can give their input and feedback into the new planned bus stops for Horsham.
