Kealy – Applications for Engage! 2018-20 now open

The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy MP is encouraging local government and  community organisations to apply for funding under the Engage! 2018-20 Program.

The Engage! 2018-20 program is offering grants of between $90,000 and $150,000 over three years to local government and community organisations to work with young people to develop and deliver activities that engage a diverse range of young people in their local community.

“These grants provide the opportunity for local government and community organisations to work with young people aged 12-25 years to develop activities that will help improve their health and wellbeing, social connections and their education, training and employment opportunities,” Ms Kealy said.

“Priority will be given to proposals that give young people the opportunity to be part of the planning and delivery of the program, and which are inclusive and accessible for all young people in the local community.

“I encourage local government and all community organisations in Lowan working with young people to consider applying for an Engage! 2018-20 grant”, she said.

Applications close on Friday, 10 November 2017.
