Kealy attends official opening of Wimmera Cancer Centre

The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy MP has attended the official opening of the Wimmera Cancer Centre today and has taken the opportunity to praise the outstanding community support shown for this local project.

“The community support from across the region for the Wimmera Cancer Centre has been outstanding,” Ms Kealy said.

“Local fundraising efforts have been inspiring and every effort deserves to be congratulated.

“Through the generosity of locals and with Federal and State Government support we now have a wonderful cancer treatment and dialysis centre that supports the fantastic work of the caring staff.

“The Wimmera Cancer Centre will save lives.

“This fantastic facility is a credit to all in the community who have given their time, funds and energy to help make this a reality.

“Well done to everyone involved in supporting the Wimmera Cancer Centre.

Our united local voice has made a real and meaningful difference to our great part of the State,” she said.
