Kealy – Horsham North Community Hub funded

The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy MP has joined The Nationals Federal Member for Mallee, Andrew Broad who has today announced $900,000 for the Horsham North Community Hub.

“I congratulate the Horsham Rural City Council and the Horsham North community after successfully lobbying of both the State and Federal Governments for funding towards the Horsham North Community Hub project,” Ms Kealy said.

The Horsham North Hub project includes a multi-purpose community centre with meeting and consulting rooms, offices, a function space and a range of education, healthcare and support services. The hub will also integrate early childhood development services.

“The funding announced today by The Nationals is fantastic news for current and future generations of our local children,” Ms Kealy said.

“It is important to have access to quality childcare services and early-years learning programs to give our local children the very best start in life.

“By improving access to services, we are making regional Victoria an even better place for families to raise their children.

“The Horsham North Community Hub is not just for the children, it’s for the whole of Horsham’s north-east and will be a wonderful asset to bring people to the area and support our local community,” she said.
