I am deeply concerned by reports of hidden cameras discovered in the change rooms at Horsham Town Hall.
My thoughts are with those impacted — especially parents, who expect their children to be safe in community spaces. This is a shocking breach of trust, and it will have a real impact on families across Horsham and the Wimmera.
I thank Victoria Police and Horsham Rural City Council for their swift action to support the criminal investigation.
I also acknowledge the disruption to our community, including cancelled performances such as the much anticipated production of The Wizard of Oz performed by the Horsham Arts Council. While disappointing, community safety must come first.
