Member's statement - Warracknabeal education precinct
Victorian Parliament - 1 May 2019 - WARRACKNABEAL EDUCATION PRECINCT Ms KEALY: Warracknabeal Education Precinct is an essential priority for this year’s state budget. It is outrageous that the newest science lab in a public school in western Victoria has been sitting idle for six months with no students able to use it. This lab should be being used to educate our next generation of agronomists, grain research scientists and nurses. Labor have let down the Warracknabeal community by abandoning the project after building just half the secondary college and a third of the special development school. Labor must deliver what local people voted for and provide the funding for the Warracknabeal Education Precinct in the May budget
