Nappy Collective reminder
Wimmera residents have once again thrown their support behind The Nappy Collective, with donations of unused nappies continuing to be dropped in to The National Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy’s office in Firebrace Street, Horsham.
Ms Kealy has nominated her office as a drop off point for unused disposable nappies for distribution to local organisations that support families in crisis or in need for the past two years.
“The local generosity and support for The Nappy Collective Project has been amazing and it’s wonderful to see more donations coming in for such a great cause,” Ms Kealy said.
“Over 2,000 unused nappies have been collected through my office and distributed locally by the Christian Emergency Food Centre to support victims of domestic violence and young families in need.
“As this round of The Nappy Collective draws to an end, I encourage people to check in the back of their cupboards to find any unused nappies and to drop them into my office.
“This is a fantastic project and I encourage all local residents to get involved.”
