Nominate for Telstra Business Women’s Awards

The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy MP is urging local people to celebrate the achievements of exceptional business women by nominating them for the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.

Ms Kealy said the Telstra Business Women’s Awards recognise and reward the courage, leadership and creativity of Australia’s business women and play a critical role in raising the profile of women in business.

“There are many inspirational women from a diverse range of working backgrounds in the Lowan electorate who are achieving great things and have demonstrated courageous and successful leadership. The awards provide a fabulous opportunity to recognise these women.

“I urge everyone in the community to stand behind our local business women by nominating them for the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards as a way to show our support and encourage other women to follow in their footsteps,” Ms Kealy said.

Anyone can nominate a business woman they admire, with entries open until 20 June 2016 across five Award categories.

The Victorian Awards will be presented on Tuesday 18 October 2016 and the National awards, including the announcement of the Telstra Business Woman of the Year will take place at a gala dinner in Melbourne on Wednesday 23 November 2016.
