My constituency question is to the Premier. Premier, why doesn’t regional Victoria ever get its fair share under Labor? This year country Victoria got just 12 per cent of Labor’s state infrastructure investment, despite 25 per cent of Victorians calling country Victoria home. For 23 of the past 27 years, successive Labor governments have ripped off our country people and left people behind. Hamilton hospital emergency department still has not had the major redevelopment that it needs. Horsham, Ararat and Ballarat are still waiting for the promised mental health and wellbeing locals. Our roads are falling apart to the point of being deadly, and the Western Highway duplication has been delayed for more than a decade. We have schools right across the region that are falling apart and desperately need redevelopment. We also have other health services and sporting organisations, all parts of our community that are so important but have missed out under successive Labor governments. It is only the Nationals in government that will deliver a fresh start and our fair share for regional Victoria
