Sporting Club grants close 21 July 2022 – Get in quick!
Nationals Member for Lowan Emma Kealy is encouraging local sporting clubs across the Lowan electorate to get in quick and apply for the latest round of the Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program before the closing date of 21 July 2022.
Applicants must be community-based organisations involved in the delivery of sport and active recreation opportunities to be eligible to apply.
Local sporting clubs can apply for grants of up to $1,000 for new uniforms and equipment, up to $2,000 for skill development, up to $5,000 for training coaches, officials and volunteers, and up to $5,000 to better club operations*.
Ms Kealy said the program was too good of an opportunity for local sporting clubs to miss.
“Grants like this are an integral part of our smaller regional communities – they keep our sporting clubs alive and running through generations,” she said.
“I encourage all local clubs to find out if they are eligible and apply.”
